My name is Sophie Pomfret. I am the owner of Sophie’s Blankets. 2020 has been a such abnormal year and the spread of Covid-19 made it impossible for me to see people and celebrate winter holidays with them. So that is why I started making blankets. Making blankets for people was one of the only things that made me smile. I really enjoyed making them so that is why I am here now. Making blankets makes me very jubilant because I fabricated something useful and warm for other people out of my bare hands. It also made us talk about things other than the news.
I hope my blankets bring you as much happiness as it does me.
I will be reusing as many materials as possible. For example, I will be reusing boxes when shipping so that I don’t have to take part in the fabrication of something that we already have. I hope you will come along with me to help the planet out.
It all started when I was 8.
The videos are 4 years apart. The first one when I was 8, the second when I am 12. I had a dream and I stuck to it. Even though blankets aren’t fashion, they give me the same kind of joy. When there is something I want to do, I commit to it.
